Tell me about it! My sister and I have a "maternity box" that floats around among family and friends for each pregnancy. It's actually grown to about 5 or 6 boxes now, and it contains every size from XS - XXL. The thought of paying full price for new maternity clothes... wow.

On top of that, we have 3, almost 4, girls between us. All of my oldest's clothes have been handed down to her oldest, then her youngest, and now back to my second girl.

What really makes sense about both the maternity clothes and the kid clothes is that we can usually justify spending money on one name brand, high quality outfit. When we're done with it, we just add it to the box. When buying the nicer stuff, there is so much more life to the clothes after they've been outgrown.

I've saved so much money thanks to friends and neighbors donating their kids clothes to our little boy. We're very thankful.
